Michael K. Hansen and Nina Paladino are celebrating their studio's 30th anniversary in 2007. Michael was born in 1947 in Oceanside, CA. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy. After traveling through the United States and South America, Michael decided to settle in Sacramento. There he found himself taking a glassblowing class at a local community college taught by a friend, Nina, with whom he would have a lifelong partnership in a hot-glass studio.
