| Board measures 22" square x 1¾" high. The playing pieces range from 2½" h. (for the pawns) to 5" h. (the king). |
The Ponzini architecturally influenced chess set is composed of glass rods, tubes, textured glass, iridescent glass, dichroic glass, black glass and mirrors. Some surfaces have sandblasted etched patterns. Ultra-violet and silicone adhesives are used in the assembly. The pieces have black felt dots on the bottom for easy sliding and rubber bumbers. The wooden frame is finished in black.
